NATIVE DELICACIES

Binaki is steamed cake made of grated young corn with powdered milk, baking powder and sugar mixed with water. It is a known delicacy of Northern Mindanao and was originally a homemade dessert in Bukidnon.

Pastel was originally a Spanish term for cake although in English it is described as a soft dough buns.

Kiping is one of unique delicacy found at Camiguin. It is made from dried sweet potatoes, grounded, mixed with water then fried. Interesting idea, who would've thought that it's possible. This thin, crispy, five-peso food can be a desert or a snack during your tour around the Island.
